INDO-ISRAEL RELATIONSHIP

T he recent visit by our Prime Minister to Israel has marked a continuing relationship since Israel became an independent Nation in 1948! Both India and Israel have an ancient history and civilization marked by succession of super power empires of the ‘time’ till the British Empire.                           Like India, Israel is a nation on earth that inhabits the same land, bears the same name, language and culture since time immemorial and a roller coaster relationship with neighbouring countries; occupying centre stage in global affairs.                          “Whoever blesses Israel, is blessed” (Bible) and indeed India and its people will grow in prosperity! The very cordial approach,bon homie and openness in several rounds of discussions followed by signing of major agreements marks a progressive change in India’s foreign policy, and is seen as a major diplomatic victory. INDO–US RELATIONSHIP …RECENT VISIT BY PRIME MINISTER NARENDRA MODI TO THE USA
