In a first, Indian Navy to participate in French naval exercise La Perouse, Quad allies to join

For the first time, the Indian Navy will be part of a French naval exercise known as ‘La Perouse’ in the Bay of Bengal next month. The other Quad nations – the US, Japan and Australia – will also participate. The Indian Navy will be part of a French naval exercise in the Bay of Bengal next month. The participating nations also include the other Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) member countries -- Australia, Japan and the United States of America (USA). This is the first time that the Indian Navy will be part of the France-led war game ‘La Perouse’. Until now, India was not invited for the French naval exercise. Phase 2 of Ex - MALABAR 2020 begins in western Indian Ocean - QUAD countries to participate

The second phase of Exercise Malabar 2020 will be conducted in the Northern Arabian Sea from 17 to 20 November 2020. Indian & Sri-Lankan Navy to hold 3-day military Exercise "SLINEX 2020" to show growing strategic interests

Indian Navy has participated in a number of joint maritime exercises in last few weeks, including a 3-day drill "JIMEX 2020" with Japanese Navy in September & one with US Navy in July called "PASSEX 2020" . America's largest warship likely to exercise with Indian Navy amid Chinese aggression

US Navy's USS Nimitz, the world's largest warship, is likely to conduct a drill with Indian Navy's off the coast of Andaman & Nicobar island.
