Navy Chief to be the Reviewing Officer for passing out parade of 140th NDA batch

This will be the third occasion when the prestigious Passing Out Parade is being held under the shadow of COVID-19 pandemic. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Karambir Singh will be the Reviewing Officer for the ceremonial Passing Out Parade of the 140th batch of the National Defence Academy (NDA) , which will be held on Saturday when over 300 cadets will pass out of the academy after three years of rigorous training. Every year, two batches of cadets pass out from India’s premier tri-services military academy which based at Khadakwasla in Pune to continue with the one more year of pre-commissioning training at the academies of their respective forces –– Indian Military Academy in Dehradun for Army, Air Force Academy in Dundigal and and Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala. IAF's medical assistants passing out parade

An impressive passing out parade of 74 Medical Assistants of Indian Air Force was held at the Medical Training Centre in Bengaluru on Saturday Medical Training Centre Air Force in Bengaluru Air Vice Marshal Ashutosh Sharma , Commandant, Command Hospital Air Force, Bengaluru was the chief guest on the occasion and reviewed the parade. Leading aircraftsman Robin bagged the trophy for the BestAll-rounder and leading aircraftsman M.Sarath Kumar won the trophy for Best in Trade, while the Best in Ground Training Trophy went to leading aircraftsman Robin, while Senior Air Officer Headquarters Training Command Trophy for Emergency Care Assistant Topper was awarded to leading aircraftsman Alluri Saimohan Reddy. Air Vice Marshal Ashutosh Sharma congratulated the prize winners and passing-out trainees and exhorted them to strive for excellence in their profession in the service.

181 cadets graduate as officers at OTA

OTA Chennai made arrangements for live streaming of passing out parade and Pipping Ceremony on DD Podhigai, DD Bharati and YouTube channels. 181 men and 49 women cadets graduated as officers at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) here on Saturday. A total of 15 men and five women cadets from friendly foreign countries also graduated on the occasion. A girl from Andipatti who fought to avoid an early marriage, an engineer who left his high-paying job at Mercedes-Benz, a farmer’s son who is a first-generation graduate and a cadet who will be the second woman Army officer from Arunachal Pradesh were among the 178 cadets who braved the odds and passed out of Officers Training Academy (OTA) after completing a six-month gruelling training on Saturday.
