Indian Navy Invites Applications For SSC Technical Branch June 2021 Course

The Indian Navy has invited applications for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Technical Branch (Naval Constructor) entries. The courses will commence in June 2021 at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. The registration deadline is February 18. Apply Online "The Short Service Commission is granted initially for 10 years extendable further for 04 years (02+02) subject to vacancy, service requirements, performance, willingness and medical eligibility of the officers," the Indian Navy has said in the notification. Passing out Parade – Autumn Term 2020 held at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala

In a spectacular Passing out Parade (POP) held at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, on Saturday, 28 November 2020, 164 trainees comprising Midshipmen (99th INAC and INAC-NDA), Cadets of the Indian Navy (30th Naval Orientation Course Extended) and two International trainees from Sri Lanka Navy passed out with flying colours, marking the culmination of their ab-initio training. The UPSC CDS Exam II notification was released online on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.   The last date to apply for the UPSC CDS II examination is 6.00 PM, August 25, 2020 . The online Applications can be withdrawn from 01.09.2020 to 07.09.2020 till 6.00 PM. The UPSC is conducting this recruitment drive to fill up 344 posts under Combined Defence Service across the country. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. In yet another departure from the norm, the cadets will not go home but instead report to their respective pre-commissioning training academies directly. While the Army cadets will report to the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, the air force and navy cadets will joining the Air Force Academy, Dundigal and Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala respectively. National Defence Academy (NDA) 138th course passed out on May 30, 2020, completing their rigorous three-year training at the tri-services academy. A total of 335 cadets graduated from the NDA which includes 226 Army cadets, 44 Naval cadets and 65 Air Force cadets. The course also included 20 cadets from friendly foreign countries (Bhutan, Tajikistan, Maldives, Vietnam, Tanzania, Mauritius, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Turkmenistan, Fiji, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Mongolia and Bangladesh).
