The Leadership is an act of applying both Science and Art. Here an individual applies Science by selecting right management tools & finds ways (art) to influence the behaviour of groups to achieve goals. Leadership is of paramount importance in achieving organisational goals. The fact that a leader can have an immense effect on the performance of those under, is well known to all.
The Concept of Leadership has been explained by many & the explaination still continues. Still no one, complete explaination has been accepted, although the comparison between managementship & leadership continues in the corporate world. What we need today is effective leadership which is enduring and changeing the behaviour as well as the attitude of followers.
