AFCAT 2020 Result Row: Indian Air Force replies to concerns over error in results, assures of no discrepancy

AFCAT Result 2020 - Replying to the uproar over the results declared on Oct 21, IAF has issued an official statement assuring candidates that the results have been rechecked and no discrepancy has been found.

Indian Air Force, IAF has reposnded to the alleged errors in the results and the requests of students calling out the results. Taking to the social media handle, IAF has confirmed that there is no error in the calculation of the results and that they have not found any discrepancy in the results released for IAF common Admission Test or AFCAT 2020.

IAF - CDAC had declared the results for the AFCAT 02 / 2020 examination on October 21, 2020. Soon after the declaration of the result, many students reached out to IAF, complaining about erroneous results and demanding the release of the answer keys. The students also alleged that there was ‘gross miscalculations’ and that their results were not tallying the marks they had expected.

Putting a rest to all the said allegations, IAF has confirmed that the concerns shared by some candidates has been considered and that the AFCAT 2020 Result has been ‘rechecked’ for any errors. They have also reassured that the ‘entire process of AFCAT result generation is automated without human intervention.’


About AFCAT 2 2020

AFCAT is conducted by the CDAC for due admission to the Indian Air Force. The examination is conducted twice. AFCAT 02 / 2020 was conducted on October 5, 2020 and the results were declared on October 21, 2020. Candidates who have been shortlisted were required chose the date and venue for their SSB interview.

All those who have not chosen would be allotted a date and venue for the interview by the system. The call letters would be made available on afcat.cdac.in soon with details of the date, venue and providing bank details for travel allowance transfers.
