Indian Army Recruitment 2021: Apply online for JAG 27th course

The Indian Army issued notification for the recruitment of SSC for JAG entry Scheme 2021.The candidate can apply for the post from May 6 to June 4 on the website joinindianarmy.nic.in.



The Indian Army issued notification for the recruitment of SSC for JAG entry Scheme 2021. The official notification reads, “ JAG Entry Scheme 27th Course (Oct 2021), Short Service Commission (NT) Course open from May 6 to June 4." Only Unmarried male and female candidates can apply for Indian Army JAG 2021 through online mode on the official website of the Indian Army.

The candidate is eligible and interested apply by visiting the official website of the Indian Army that is (joinindianarmy.nic.in) from 06 May to 04 June 2021Candidates interested in applying for JAG 2021 Course should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

Indian Army JAG Entry Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality-A candidate must either be: (i) A citizen of India, or (ii) A subject of Nepal, (iii) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will, however, not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.
  • Educational Qualification-Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2 examination). The candidates should be eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State. The candidate should be from a College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  • Age Limit- 21 to 27 years as of 01 Jul 2021 (Born not earlier than 02 Jul 1994 and not later than 01 Jul 2000; both dates inclusive).

Steps to Apply for Indian Army JAG Entry 2021:

  • Visit the website joinindianarmy.nic.in or click here for a direct link.
  • Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’
  • Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully .
  • Candidates must click on ‘Submit’ each time they open the application for editing any details.
  • Submit and save the information, Print it out for future use.

The candidates are required to take out two copies of their application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after final closure of online application on last day. Selection of Candidates for the SSC JAG post will be done on SSB exams and later on the interviews, Candidate’s merit on both the rounds will be evaluated to further finalize them.
